Nyali residents have pledged to support mama Amina Abdalla’s bid for the Mombasa Women Representative seat, saying they believe she has the leadership qualities to champion the interests of women, youth and the wider community.
Speaking during a consultative meeting, several residents expressed confidence in Amina’s leadership, saying they were ready to rally behind her political aspirations. They urged her to continue engaging with wananchi and to prioritize job creation, youth empowerment, improved public services and community development.
Addressing the gathering, Amina Abdalla thanked the residents for their support and assured them that their views would remain at the center of her leadership agenda. She said regular engagement with wananchi is essential in identifying community priorities and finding practical solutions to the challenges they face.
She further pledged to champion inclusive development, women and youth empowerment, and greater access to opportunities if elected.
She urged residents to remain united and actively participate in the democratic process, saying meaningful change can only be achieved through informed civic participation.
The meeting comes as political activity continues to gather momentum across the country ahead of the next General Election, with aspirants increasingly turning to grassroots engagements to present their agendas and seek public support.
