Grade 4–9 learners in mazera Kwale county took part in a nationwide Read Aloud event to celebrate National Reading Day, reading the same passage simultaneously. This year’s theme, “Human–Wildlife Coexistence,” highlighted the importance of living in harmony with nature while promoting foundational literacy skills, including reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The event also aimed to build learners’ confidence, communication, leadership, and a shared sense of responsibility toward protecting wildlife and the environment.
