Eight people, including an infant, tragically lost their lives on Monday afternoon when a wall collapsed during a burial ceremony in Miritini, Mombasa. Emergency responders, led by the Amina Abdalla Rescue Unit, arrived swiftly, working alongside local residents to rescue those trapped under the debris. Witnesses described chaotic scenes as rescuers raced against time to save lives,with heavy rains adding to the challenges

Local leaders, including Jomvu MP Badi Twalib called for an urgent investigation, emphasizing the need to determine the cause of the collapse and ensure such tragedies are prevented in the future.
