Biotank Africa opens a branch in Nakuru County , Shayona Business Centre, unveiling of a refreshed brand identity and the rollout of the Kuwa Mbele Campaign, the company’s platform for community education and trade partnerships across the region.

Led by Dr.Nelson Maara, County Executive Committee Member for Water, Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources, he noted that partnerships are key to growth.

“Public-private partnerships are critical to expanding safe sanitation.The county government is committed to ensure all residents have access to dignified sanitation services.” said Dr.Maara.

Moreover Edwin Kirugo Bio Tank Africa founder and General Manager , sanitation partnerships should be accommodated to educate Kenyans.

“Many Kenyans build on available land without waiting for government services, and that creates gaps in essential systems like sanitation,” said Kirugo.

Kirugo added that the company aims to complement government efforts by providing practical, affordable solutions that households and developers can adopt immediately.

According to the housing report , despite the growth of the construction and housing sector in an estimated 5.5% annually sanitation access in Nakuru County lags behind leaving less than 4% residents connected to a sewerage system, and more than 65% of human waste going untreated.
